Cadet Jovana Ćirović wins silver at Abu Dhabi Championship
Military Academy Cadet Jovana Ćirović took second place in the women’s 18-24 category at the world obstacle racing championship in Abu Dhabi – the Abu Dhabi World Championship Weekend 2025.
At the championship held in the United Arab Emirates from November 20 to 23, Cadet Ćirović successfully completed the 21-kilometre course, earning her place among the world’s top competitors.Competing in extreme desert conditions, with high temperatures and humidity, required exceptional preparation, and Cadet Ćirović’s result stands as a testament to her readiness, military discipline, and all-round athletic skill.
Jovana Ćirović is a cadet of the Military Academy’s 148th class. She is in the third year of the Military Electrical Engineering study programme, specializing in aircraft electrical systems. She is also a member of the Orthodox Sports Association Sveta Srbija, through which she competed at this prestigious competition.
