Army personnel undergoing modern weapons training



Members of the Army are currently undergoing training in the use of modern weapons recently introduced into service within the Serbian Armed Forces.
The first part of the training was conducted at the units’ peacetime locations, while the final part is being conducted at the Pasuljanske Livade range, where the personnel is conducting tactical drills and live-fire exercises against ground and aerial targets.
The weapons used during the training included Mistral 3+ air defence missile systems, Komarac 2 (Mosquito 2) remotely piloted one-use attack drones, and hand-held grenade launchers. The SM-2 loitering munitions were used as targets for training purposes.

The live-fire drill executed today was observed by the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, Army Commander, Major General Zoran Nasković, Commander of the Training Command, Brigadier General Dragiša Zlatković, Head of the Development and Equipment Department (J-5), Brigadier General Stanisav Mijailović, and Deputy Army Commander, Brigadier General Vladan Milosavljević.  
At the conclusion of today’s activities, General Mojsilović spoke with the soldiers, officers and NCOs participating in the training, commending them for their proficiency, demonstrated skill, and dedication. He emphasized that the fact that the units are now equipped with weapons such as those successfully used today, is the result of the systematic development of the Serbian Armed Forces’ capabilities in line with approved plans and programmes. He also noted that the year ahead will see the arrival of a large contingent of modern military equipment.
