Pledge ceremony in the Military Academy



Today, a pledge taking ceremony was held for the reserve corps officers of the Military and the Military Medical Academy, and for the soldiers of the military sports platoon class of September 2010 as well as for soldiers undergoing training for the sanitary and vet service at the plateau of “General Jovan Miskovic” barracks in Belgrade.
New members of Mod and SAF were greeted and welcomed by Brig. Gen. Mladen Vuruna, Head of the Academy.

- By taking this pledge of allegiance you have sworn to protect the interests of Serbia with honor. You should be proud of this fact and I congratulate you on this. I wish you much success and to continue with your education and the military service. I hope that you will perform your duties with dignity and honor, as General Vuruna said. He announced that the Serbian Armed Forces would continue with the program of training those personnel who are not educated regularly.

The pledge was signed by 55 attendees and five soldiers of the sports platoon of the Military Academy, 11 candidates in training for the medical and vet service as well as 21 attendee of the School for Reserve Officers.
