Minister Gašić visits Košare veteran’s new home
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić visited today the seven-member family of Goran Milić, a Košare veteran, at their new home in the village of Dedina, near Kruševac.
During the visit, the Minister of Defence congratulated the Milić family on moving into their new home. - We are demonstrating unity and solidarity and the fact that together, we can achieve a great deal. It is also a message to all veterans’ associations in Kruševac that, by working together, we can achieve great things. I hope that by next Vidovdan (St. Vitus Day) we will have completed the Veterans’ Centre so that we can bring all associations together under one roof. Through projects like this, we aim to support families who have truly earned it by fighting for our beloved Serbia – emphasized Minister Gašić.
On behalf of his family, Goran Milić thanked the Minister of Defence, the Mayor of Kruševac, and the construction team who helped make their new home. With the support of Minister Gašić, and at the initiative of the Rasina District Veterans’ Association, the construction of a new home for the Milić family began, providing them with a long-term housing solution. Before they moved into their new home, the family had lived in a deteriorating house built in 1935.
