The visit of the UK Defense Academy delegation



The defense delegation of the United Kingdom led by Head of the Defense Academy LTG Andrew Graham visited the Military Academy today. the delegation was received by Brigadier General Mladen Vuruna, Head of the Academy.

The purpose of the visit, according to General Vuruna is establishing cooperation between the Military Academy and the UK Defense Academy which will predominantly focus on study program exchange and specializing programs as well as exchange of visiting professors in relevant fields.

The Head of the Defense Academy of the United Kingdom stressed that he was pleased to see that Serbia places such stress on developing its Military Academy which is not the case in Great Britain, as it mainly relies on civilian education institutions when it comes to educatingofficers.


General Graham on this occasion gave a lecture to the attendees of the GS college on the topic: the future of command and the relationship of officers towards the new method of command with a recap of modern war history and the current changes in war.

During the visit the guests from Great Briatin visited classrooms, the library, study halls, as well as the Academy’s Sports Center and the Simulation and Distance Learning Center.
