Routine training for securing facilities under threat
A unit from the Army Training Centre has conducted a training exercise at the Peskovi training area near Požarevac. Over several days in the field, soldiers and officers practised tactical procedures including responding to an alert, deploying forces to the designated area, and securing the facility under threat. The exercise also included live-fire drills.
Soldiers fired at targets using automatic, sniper, and semi-automatic rifles. The results confirmed that the unit has reached the required level of marksmanship and tactical skills to carry out its assigned missions.
Second Lieutenant Aleksa Mičić, commander of one of the marksmanship training teams, expressed his satisfaction with the successful fulfilment of the training objective. — In addition to evaluating weapons proficiency, the training also assesses the personnel’s ability to effectively execute tactical actions, respond rapidly, and complete the tasks assigned to the unit. Thanks to the outstanding dedication and motivation of each soldier and officer involved, we’ve managed to meet the required training standards – emphasized Second Lieutenant Mičić.
