Serbian and Hungarian armed forces conduct Exercise Neighbours 25

Tactical exercise Neighbours 25, jointly conducted by members of the Serbian Armed Forces and Hungarian Defence Forces, has officially started at the Pasuljanske Livade training area.
The goal of the exercise, which will last until October 7, is to strengthen both armed forces’ ability to plan and conduct multinational operations, establish coordination and joint action, and build mutual trust through the exchange of experience.

Over the next several days, members of the First Army Brigade and the 30th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Hungarian Defence Forces will operate in the field, practicing combat actions and procedures used in tactical-level operations, using modern combat vehicles, as well as reconnaissance and intelligence gathering equipment. The exercise scenario includes activities such as marching to attack, area control, terrain search, and medical evacuation.
This is the 10th edition of the joint exercise Neighbours conducted by members of the Serbian and Hungarian armed forces. In addition to enhancing military to military cooperation and strengthening overall bilateral relations between the two countries, the exercise also contributes to improving the Serbian Armed Forces’ ability to plan, organize, and execute international exercises, as well as their readiness to take part in peacekeeping operations.
