Visit by U.S. Aerospace Medicine specialists



A delegation of aerospace medicine specialists from the United States European Command (USEUCOM) is on an official visit to the Air Force and Air Defence of the Serbian Armed Forces.
   Over the next several days, Serbian and American experts will be discussing the essential aspects of aerospace medicine critical to flight safety, while also exploring opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the medical services of the two countries’ air forces.
 
The discussions are focused on the selection of candidates for positions such as military pilots, paratroopers and remotely piloted aircraft operators. The two sides will also exchange professional experience in the application of physiological training programmes using a human centrifuge, a spatial disorientation training device and a hypobaric chamber.
 
This activity represents a further step in successful expert-level cooperation between the Serbian Air Force and the U.S. Armed Forces, further advancing medical support and flight safety efforts.
