Formal dinner held in honour of International Armament and Military Equipment Exhibition Partner 2025
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić has hosted a formal dinner for the delegations participating in the 12th International Armament and Military Equipment Exhibition Partner 2025, at the Guard Club in Topčider.

Minister Gašić emphasized that the practice of gathering for good, productive, and ceremonial occasions continues. He noted that following the spectacular Power of Unity military parade, which showed to the Serbian people and the world the strength and beauty of the renewed and modernized Serbian Armed Forces, the largest defence technology exhibition ever held in the region has now officially opened.

Emphasizing that current global political and security circumstances reaffirm the conclusion that peace and stability are values that must be defended, Minister Gašić stated that no matter how firmly a country advocates for the peaceful resolution of disputes, avoids confrontation, and promotes public international law, it cannot be truly safe or independent in its decision-making without a strong military. He added that a strong military is made up of two components, the determination of its members to defend the country, and the technological power it possesses.

In his address, Minister Gašić said that the recognition for the outstanding presentation of Serbia’s defence industry at this year’s defence exhibition goes primarily to the Sector for Material Resources of the Ministry of Defence and the Department for Defence Technologies, including their Military Technical Institute, Jugoimport SDPR company, as well as the management and all employees of the Serbian Defence Industry factories. He added that exhibits that will be showcased over the next four days are the result of their joint effort and hard work.

Minister Gašić underlined that, regardless of the circumstances, science and professional expertise in the development and implementation of innovative ideas and business ventures must be encouraged. It is also important to accurately assess current and anticipate future trends in the development of combat systems, and to expand domestic knowledge and production capabilities. Only in this way can the Serbian Armed Forces, as the primary user of the domestic defence industry’s products, remain resilient to potential challenges in the supply of armaments and military equipment. At the same time, Serbia will have substantial financial benefits from defence exports.

On this occasion, the Minister of Defence presented gifts to distinguished individuals in recognition of their contribution to the successful organization of the 12th International Armament and Military Equipment Exhibition Partner 2025 and the execution of the Power of Unity military parade.
The formal dinner was graced by the performance of “Stanislav Binički”, the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence.
