Formal dinner held in honour of International Armament and Military Equipment Exhibition Partner 2025

Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić has hosted a formal dinner for the delegations participating in the 12th International Armament and Military Equipment Exhibition Partner 2025, at the Guard Club in Topčider.
In addition to the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, guests at the dinner included the Minister of Defence of Cyprus, Vasilis Palmas, the Chief of Staff of the Royal Saudi Land Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd Al-Juhani, Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources, Nenad Miloradović, Ph.D., Acting Assistant Minister for Infrastructure and Hospitality Services, Boriša Roljić, Acting Assistant Minister for Budget and Finance, Goran Momčilović, MSc, representatives of the Serbian defence industry, and participants in the 12th International Armament and Military Equipment Exhibition Partner 2025.

Minister Gašić emphasized that the practice of gathering for good, productive, and ceremonial occasions continues. He noted that following the spectacular Power of Unity military parade, which showed to the Serbian people and the world the strength and beauty of the renewed and modernized Serbian Armed Forces, the largest defence technology exhibition ever held in the region has now officially opened.
- The Armament and Military Equipment Exhibition PARTNER 2025 has surpassed all similar events held so far, both in the number of participants and in exhibition space, as well as in the innovations being showcased. If the parade held on Saturday was a clear demonstration of our military strength and readiness to defend Serbia’s sovereignty and freedom, then PARTNER is a reflection of our intelligence, innovation, and the capabilities of the Serbian defence industry – said the Minister of Defence.

Emphasizing that current global political and security circumstances reaffirm the conclusion that peace and stability are values that must be defended, Minister Gašić stated that no matter how firmly a country advocates for the peaceful resolution of disputes, avoids confrontation, and promotes public international law, it cannot be truly safe or independent in its decision-making without a strong military. He added that a strong military is made up of two components, the determination of its members to defend the country, and the technological power it possesses.
- This exhibition shows that we are well aware of the times we live in. For years, the state leadership, under the guidance of President Aleksandar Vučić, has strongly encouraged research and development in the field of defence technologies, and their support for the defence industry has led to a significant increase in production volumes. The rich tradition of this sector of our economy, combined with the expertise and dedication of our engineers and workers, has resulted in numerous projects whose results we are proud of today. We are extremely satisfied with the characteristics and quality of the combat systems that are being introduced into our armed forces, and we are more than satisfied with our arms and ammunition exports, which have been reaching record levels year after year – Minister Gašić emphasized.

In his address, Minister Gašić said that the recognition for the outstanding presentation of Serbia’s defence industry at this year’s defence exhibition goes primarily to the Sector for Material Resources of the Ministry of Defence and the Department for Defence Technologies, including their Military Technical Institute, Jugoimport SDPR company, as well as the management and all employees of the Serbian Defence Industry factories. He added that exhibits that will be showcased over the next four days are the result of their joint effort and hard work.
- A large number of foreign exhibitors and high-level delegations indicate that the Ministry of Defence and the Republic of Serbia enjoy great respect and trust on the international stage. Their attendance, he noted, shows that defence technologies and the defence industry are fields in which Serbia has a lot to offer and exchange – said the Minister of Defence.

Minister Gašić underlined that, regardless of the circumstances, science and professional expertise in the development and implementation of innovative ideas and business ventures must be encouraged. It is also important to accurately assess current and anticipate future trends in the development of combat systems, and to expand domestic knowledge and production capabilities. Only in this way can the Serbian Armed Forces, as the primary user of the domestic defence industry’s products, remain resilient to potential challenges in the supply of armaments and military equipment. At the same time, Serbia will have substantial financial benefits from defence exports.
- I once again extend my congratulations to the organizers and sponsors of the PARTNER 2025 defence exhibition, with the hope that this event will live up to the excellent reputation it has rightfully earned over the years – said Minister Gašić.

On this occasion, the Minister of Defence presented gifts to distinguished individuals in recognition of their contribution to the successful organization of the 12th International Armament and Military Equipment Exhibition Partner 2025 and the execution of the Power of Unity military parade.

The formal dinner was graced by the performance of “Stanislav Binički”, the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence.
