Promotion of video clips "Be a professional"



The video clips promoting the professionalization of the Serbian armed forces were presented this evening in the media center “Odbrana”.
Besides main promoters, our distinguished actors Dragan Bjelogrlic, Ivan Bosiljcic and Vuk Kostic, the event was also attended by Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac and SAF CHOD LTG Miloje Miletic, and other representatives of MoD and SAF along with other many distinguished persons of the public life in Serbia. The video clips filmed on various attractive locations were done by the military film making center “Zastava film” and will serve as support to the promotion of the military vocation.


On this occasion, Minister Sutanovac said that the campaign which was launched this evening marked the final stages of the professionalization. He thanked everyone who participated in making these promotional movies, including the three said actors.

- WE are deeply convinced that what we are doing has the support of citizens, and the support of the defense system, but never so far has it garnered such wide support from public personages, as the minister said thanking all those who had helped the professionalization in the previous year.


Starting tomorrow, as the minister announced, the video clips will be played in all the media, while Mod will continue to seek friends and partners whishing to support the process of making the Serbian army into a professional army, which is of public interest.

Furthermore, the minister thanked professor Mandic for directing the ceremonious academy marking 160th anniversary of the Military Academy and Zika Nkikolic, the author and host of the popular weekend morning show “Sarenica” who dedicated one of his shows to the promotion of young Serbian officers.

LTGEN Miloje Miletic made a humorous remark saying that there has been a large number of girl applying to be professional soldiers thanks to the popularity of Bjelogrlic, Bosiljcic and Kostic. He stated that he expected these numbers of applicants to rise and that the army would have the opportunity to get the best pick.

In his address to the guests, Dragan Bjelogrlic cited the words of his father, "he who was born in Serbia and has no love for taverns and the army has a serious problem"

As for Vuk Kostic he was quite terse: When the army is strong, Serbia is strong too.!

And Ivan Bosljcic, who has gained fame as a popular pilot from the series “Ranjeni orao” said: Let us really be professionals.

The members of the army gave immense support, while the Military Museum helped with their professional advice and by providing the actors with the replicas of objects and weapons from WWI. The music author is Aleksandar Protic, musician and sound designer.
