At the opening ceremony of the Čivija Half Marathon, the Commandant of the Military Academy, Colonel Prof. Srđan Blagojević, stated that the Military Academy actively supports this important event, which promotes sports and a healthy lifestyle. He added that their participation also reflects a strong commitment to engaging with younger generations as part of the broader promotion of the military profession.

Cadets of the Military Academy served as volunteers along the half marathon route, while students from the Military Grammar School and the “1300 Corporals” Secondary Vocational Military School took part as promoters of military education. Through their active involvement, the cadets and students demonstrated a high level of discipline and dedication, making a significant contribution to the success of the event and representing the Defence University, Military Academy, and their schools in the best possible way.
