Army reconnaissance units conduct tactical exercises
Reconnaissance units of the Army have carried out tactical exercises at training grounds near Niš, in preparation for their participation in future Serbian Armed Forces’ operations.
This is an important segment of the regular summer training cycle, aimed at maintaining and further enhancing the skills of professional personnel in providing intelligence support to units engaged in operations.The training included organizing and conducting reconnaissance patrols and observation post, operations carried out by reconnaissance groups deep within enemy formations, and carrying out other mission-specific tasks using modern surveillance and intelligence-gathering equipment recently provided to these units.
Special attention was given to the additional training of professional soldiers recently assigned to the units.The combat capabilities of SAF reconnaissance units have been considerably enhanced over the past period. Along with intensive training, the equipping of these units with top-notch weapons and military equipment continues, enabling them to successfully carry out their missions on the modern battlefield and provide reliable, timely intelligence to SAF troops.
