New issue of Odbrana released
The September issue of Odbrana magazine holds special significance this year, marking the milestone 400th issue of the military publication, which has been in circulation for nearly two decades.

As in previous issues, we highlight several important military anniversaries. To mark the upcoming Military Police Day and the 70th anniversary of the Military Police, celebrated on September 14, this issue features a fitting interview with the Head of the Military Police, Major General Milan Lazić.
In the Standpoint section, we present, through images and words, what the commissioning ceremony for the newest officers of the Serbian Armed Forces looked like.
On the occasion of Transport Service Day, marked on September 28, we feature an article covering all aspects of the service’s work. As Logistics Centre Day approaches, a day dedicated to one of the Training Command’s specialized training centres, we spoke with its commanding officers and instructors to present this unique interdisciplinary school.
The new issue’s System section features an article on the field activities of the 210th Engineer Battalion of the Second Army Brigade, and an article on CBRN response training.
The Arsenal section is dedicated to autonomous weapons systems and the characteristics of so-called “killer robots”.
In the Tradition section, we present an article about the memorial bicycle race held on Mount Kopaonik. Meanwhile, in the History section, readers can learn about the human and professional legacy of Rodolphe Archibald Reiss, a great friend of the Serbian people, and explore the history of the King’s Cup aviation competitions held in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes/Yugoslavia.
