Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić sends telegram of condolences to Ghana Ministry of Defence



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić has sent a telegram of condolences to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Ghana following the tragic deaths of the country’s Minister of Defence and other officials, who lost their lives in a helicopter crash. 

The message reads as follows:
 
“It is with deep shock and profound sorrow that I received the news of the tragic accident that claimed the lives of my esteemed counterpart, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Ghana, Edward Omane Boamah, along with the helicopter crew and other officials of our friendly nation.

Personally, and on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, I extend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy. The loss of senior state officials and members of the armed forces is an irreparable tragedy – not only for the Ministry of Defence and the Government of the Republic of Ghana, but for all of us who value their dedication and contribution to the development and progress of your nation, and to the strengthening of our friendly relations.  
 
Please convey our sincere condolences to the families of the deceased, as well as to all members of the Ghana Armed Forces.

We share in your grief, and our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
