Joint training of Serbian and Chinese special operations units

From July 19 to 28, members of the Serbian Armed Forces’ 72nd Special Operations Brigade and a special operations brigade of the People’s Liberation Army of China conducted joint training exercise in Hebei Province, northern China.
During the ten-day exercise, mixed Serbia-China combat teams executed a series of tactical missions in both urban and rural environments, supported by unmanned systems. The primary focus of the training was the integration of drone tactics in special operations missions. Activities included firearms, tactical and alpine training.
The joint training exercise titled Guardian of Peace 2025, provided an opportunity for personnel from both armed forces to exchange operational experience, compare professional knowledge, and enhance their proficiency in the application of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). The Chinese unit demonstrated exceptional organization and professionalism throughout the exercise and proved to be an outstanding host to the members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The training in China was the first joint exercise between the armed forces of the two countries. Its successful execution provided strong momentum for further strengthening military-to-military cooperation. It also enhanced mutual understanding and improved the operational capability of participating combat teams to conduct missions alongside foreign armed forces in a multinational environment.
