Soldiers performing military service complete first training phase

The Serbian Armed Forces training centres in Sombor, Valjevo, and Leskovac conducted an assessment of basic individual skills of the June 2025 class of soldiers performing their voluntary military service..
The purpose of this assessment was to evaluate the capabilities for the independent execution of tactical actions and procedures on the battlefield, handling personal weapons and military equipment, as well as performing the duties of internal service bodies and facility security services. During the assessment, the soldiers solved tactical tasks, implementing the knowledge and skills acquired since joining the units of the Serbian Armed Forces.

The achieved results indicate that the soldiers have fully mastered the training contents, which is confirmation that the training in the Training Command centres was well planned and carried out with high quality.  This marks a successful completion of the first phase of the first period of military service.
In continuation of their military service, the youngest soldiers will be transferred to specialised training centres, where they will receive training for their assigned military occupational specialties,  followed by collective training and active involvement in the work of the Serbian Armed Forces units.

While still performing their military service, soldiers, who wish to do so, can apply for admission to professional military service, after which they will undergo the defined procedure and meet the conditions to become professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces immediately after completing their military service.
