New Generation of Officers with Highest Level of Military Professional Education
General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, has received today officers who, after completing the General Staff Course at ‘Vojvoda Radomir Putnik’ School of National Defence, were assigned to duties in the Serbian Armed Forces.

He introduced the graduates of the highest level of military professional education to current challenges, risks and threats, the most important projects and tasks in the defence system and priorities in the development of the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces, while also providing them with guidance for work on new duties.
Emphasising that people are the greatest strength of the defence system, the chief of the General Staff expressed satisfaction that the Serbian Armed Forces are now richer for a new generation of officers with the General Staff Course and expressed his belief that being assigned to the high command and staff positions they will have an opportunity to prove their capabilities and implement the knowledge acquired at the National Defence School on a daily basis.
He emphasised that he expects officers who have completed this level of professional education to provide their personal maximum, demonstrate creativity in solving tasks and set an example for younger officers with their attitude towards tasks and obligations, adding that this will best contribute to building the operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.

The General Staff Course represents the third level of special career development programmes for officers, and is conducted to prepare them for commanding tactical units at brigade level and performing higher command and staff duties and other tasks in the commands at operational level and the organizational units of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff and the Ministry of Defence.
