Participation in Annual Security Review Conference in Vienna
Representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, within the delegation led by Dr Žarko Obradović, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to OSCE and other international organisations in Vienna, participated at the Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC) in Vienna on 25th and 26th June.
During the conference dedicated to current security challenges in the OSCE area of responsibility, delegations of participating states discussed possible courses of action to maintain and strengthen OSCE mechanisms for a coordinated response to contemporary security risks and preventive joint action. Representatives from 57 participating states discussed and considered the current state and challenges in the security environment, emphasizing the importance of security dialogue in current international relations.
The ASRC provides participating countries with an opportunity to exchange views on issues related to the politico-military dimension of the OSCE and to foster information exchange and cooperation with relevant international and regional organisations and initiatives.
