Visit of the Portuguese CHOD
Chief of the armed forces of Portugal General Luis Valenso Pinto was received today by the SAF GS Chief LTG Miloje Miletic who is paying an official visit to Serbia. This visit is a continuation of bilateral cooperation which started in February last year y signing a Military Cooperation Plan in Lisbon.- The previous period has seen a realization of a number of joint activities with the main aim to promote bilateral relations in genera;. Minister of Defense of Portugal visited Serbian MoD, MMA delegation and the delegation of the Military Hospital of Portugal were also exchanged, cooperation in the training of special units was another field of cooperation, as LTG Miletic stressed, remarking that the experience of the Portuguese army in peace operations and professionalization is extensive and therefore most valuable to us .

Stressing that this visit is a proof of good cooperation between the two armies, General Pinto said that this country would dispatch a DA to Belgrade.The Portuguese CHOD was also received by Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac.
