Military Academy and the Libyan delegation sign an agreement

Head of the Military Academy Brig. Gen. Mladen Vuruna and the head of the delegation of the Armed Forces of the Great Socialist Libyan Arabic Jamahiriya Major General Mukhtar Salem Abusevski signed an Agreement on educating the members of the Libyan army in our educational institutions.

This agreement will enable the academy to engage its capacities, and Libya is a country that is very much interested in our military educational system, because of the quality our study programs provide and the long-standing tradition, as general Vuruna stated.

The agreement envisions that 20 cadets of Libya be educated by the end of the year, after an intensive course in English on our “Gazela” helicopters. They will come to Serbia to continue their graduate studies, with the study programs including flight theory and practice. The classes will be in English.

This signing of the agreement marked the end of a four-day visit of the Libyan delegation which was also received by the Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac.
