Military police, reconnaissance units’ competition

A military police and reconnaissance units’ competition, hosted by the Military Police Directorate of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, has been held at the Beranovac and Žiča training areas in the garrison of Kraljevo.
The contest is a unique platform for competing, demonstrating capabilities, exchanging ideas and promoting cooperation between military and police units. This year, 12 teams from the Serbian Armed Forces and three from the Ministry of the Interior have taken part in the competition.

The team representing the Special Operations Battalion “Falcons” of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade won this year’s competition. The runners-up were the members of the Special Purpose MP Detachment “Kobre” team, while the Gendarmerie team took third place.
During the first two stages, competitors carried out fire missions, individually and as part of a patrol. During the third stage, they were able to demonstrate their tactical skills on a patrol route. The final, fourth stage was the most physically and mentally demanding part of the competition, requiring participants to do a 10 km course with 30 natural and artificial obstacles.

During this seven-day event, members of the military and police units solved various tasks, demonstrating proficiency, tactical and marksmanship skills, physical and mental endurance and a sense of unity and team spirit among all teams.

The competition formally ended today with an award ceremony for the best individuals and teams at the Ribnica Barracks in Kraljevo.
