Members of Hungarian Defence Forces receive training at CBRN Centre

A training course for members of the Hungarian Defence Forces in handling highly toxic chemicals has ended at the Serbian Armed Forces CBRN Training Centre.
With the professional support of the CBRN Training Centre instructors, Hungarian CBRN specialists practised the tactics used by members of the CBRN Service in a contaminated area.

The focus was on the procedures and safety measures taken during the detection of chemicals, decontamination of soil and facilities and sampling toxic substances.
In this way, the trainees improved their knowledge about toxic chemicals and safety measures, and received practical training in working in an environment contaminated with these substances.
The CBRN Training Centre has been training members of the Hungarian Defence Forces to work with toxic chemicals since 2016.  It is one of numerous activities carried out as part of Serbia-Hungary bilateral military cooperation, which is very extensive, mutually beneficial and reflects friendly relations between the two neighbouring countries.
