Minister Gašić meets with UAE Ambassador Almenhali



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić met with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Serbia, H.E. Ahmed Almenhali, in Belgrade today.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Gašić said that for Serbia, the United Arab Emirates was one of the most significant countries in the Middle East and confirmed our country’s commitment to maintaining the traditionally good relations between the two countries, based on friendship and mutual respect.  
He emphasized the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces’ intention to further improve defence cooperation with the United Arab Emirates.

Ambassador Almenhali thanked Minister Gašić for today’s meeting and conversation and handed him a letter from the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, inviting him to attend the Dubai Airshow 2025, to be held in November 2025.  
Minister Gašić thanked him warmly for the invitation to attend the said event in Dubai.
