72nd Special Operations Brigade’s combat teams undergo training
Members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, supported by a helicopter squadron of the 98th Air Brigade, have conducted a helicopter rappel training at the Colonel Pilot Milenko Pavlović Military Airfield in Batajnica.

As explained by an instructor from the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, complex training is conducted in this unit.
— Today you have the opportunity to watch the training of special operations teams involving rappelling from H-145M helicopters. The most important thing in rappelling is to ensure coordination between a special operations crew and an air force and air defence team, i.e. technicians, pilot, but also the chief instructor, and the team in charge of the training. This is a complex training where our members practise the technique of descending from a helicopter using a rope – emphasized the instructor.

— We conduct a wide range of training activities, such as summertime and wintertime training, tactical and firearms training, swimming and diving training. In our unit, teamwork is very important because we depend on each other, so team cohesion is a must. Support among co-workers is very important, mainly because we spend a large part of the day at work, but we get along really well outside work as well. Characteristics that every member of our brigade must possess are love for the homeland and a desire to foster family traditions and values – emphasized this member of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and invited young people to apply for the competition for admission to this unit and join the ranks of the chosen ones.
