Open Day in the River Flotilla
As part of the ceremonies marking the Day of the River Flotilla and of River Units- 6 August, in the Novi Sad based barracks “Aleksandar Beric” Open Day was organized today.Several hundred citizens of Novi Sad came to get a glimpse of the riverine’s equipment and training and to get acquainted with the members of the river units, with officers and commanders while being given a proper presentation of expert members of the river flotilla.
The ship crews embellished the ships with flags, thus marking the Day of celebration to the pleasure and excitement of guests. The hosts prepared a short joy ride on the Danube in a patrol boat.The members of the river flotilla will get a chance to see the opening of the movie “Kao rani mraz” with Djordje Balasevic, our renowned songwriter and performert along with his accompanying orchestra “Panonska mornarica”, whose members will be wearing newly designed uniforms of the riverine.
