State Secretary Jeftic received the delegation of the Canadian Parliament
State Secretary Zoran Jeftic received today a delegation of the Canadian Parliament headed by the President of the House of Commons, Mr. Peter Millikan and Canadian Ambassador to Serbia, HE John Morrison. The State Secretary informed his interlocutors about the political and security situation in the region, the achieved level of defence reform and the involvement of Serbia in the UN multinational operations. They discussed also about the improvement of bilateral military cooperation and exchange of visits at the highest level.
Mr. Millikan expressed satisfaction with the intention of further improvement of defence cooperation and expressed his full support to the efforts of Serbia on the path of European integration. Both sides agreed that the promotion of the bilateral military cooperation would significantly contribute to further improvement of overall bilateral relations between the two countries.
