Ambassador of France presented an award to Serbian DA in France



At the ceremony held in the French Embassy, ambassador Jan Fransoa Teral presented an award to Colonel Slavoljub Dabic, DA of Serbia to Paris from 2005 to 2009, thus appointing him into the rank of the officer National Order for Excellence.

The ceremony was attended by the minister of defense Dragan Sutanovac, French DA Lt. Col. Pascal Mishel Josef Art, representatives of the French Embassy and of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia.

While presenting this award ambassador Teral stressed that Colonel Dabic was the main initiator of renewing relation between Serbia and France in the area of defense, “demonstrating that he was always at our disposal and ready to carry out numerous difficult tasks”.

"He was able to establish necessary contacts for the development of our military cooperation by taking responsibility upon themselves for missions in the territory where he was accredited, in France namely. Energetic and a diplomat, with excellent command of our language, Colonel Dabic is highly regarded for his way to establish contacts, ability to listen to interlocutors and for maintaining excellent relations with the French government”, as Ambassador Teral said, stressing that he “is an example of unreserved dedication and commitment who thus created an image of his army and country” .

"Given the outstanding quality of the tasks he has performed so far as part of relations and the trust built between the two armies, and since I had an opportunity to meet him on several occasions, I have developed a high regard for his personal qualities, so it is with great pleasure to appoint him into the rank of an officer of the National order for Excellence”, as ambassador Teral has pointed out, while presenting the award to Serbian DA in France who has been on duty in the last four years, and is currently finishing the GS college in the National Defense School.
