10th SEEC conference
The delegation of MoD led by the Head of the International Military Cooperation Department Milorad Peric took part in the tenth conference of the South East Europe Clearinghouse-SEEC, held from 21 to 23 June in Skopje, Macedonia.They presented projects with a potential to become regional centers and analyzed the achievements made so far I the three declared regional centers, the NBC center in Krusevac, Media Center in Skopje and the Peace Support Operations Training Center PSOTS in Butmir.
Our side gave a presentation of the potentials of the Regional Center for Military Medical Training and the Regional Center for Ammo Disposal in TRZ Kragujevac(Technical Overhaul Institute).
The conference participants all agreed that recognizing the potentials and promoting regional cooperation was the best way to achieve European future in the region.
In early October this year the fifth regional meeting of the SEEC Assistant Ministers for defense Policy will be held in Belgrade.
