SAF Deputy Chief meets with his Chinese colleague
Deputy Chief of the Serbian army LTG Mladen Cirkovic and the Deputy Chief of the Chinese Army LTG Ma XIaotian met today in the House of Guards in Topcider. On this occasion they signed an agreement on the Chinese help to Serbia in IT equipment.Thanking for the donation, Deputy SAF Chief stressed that this like other donations is just another aspect of cooperation of both countries adding that this cooperation mainly focused in specialization and education of the personnel, preparations for peace missions, under UN mandate and sharing experiences in military exercises.
As General Cirkovic pointed out this is a continuation of very fruitful cooperation, based on mutual trust and friendly relations of two nations and armies.General Ma Xiaotian stressed that the purpose of his visit is strengthening of friendship of Serbia and China reminding that the signing of the Agreement on Strategic Partnership of Serbia and China has opened a new chapter of development of both countries.
Within this regional tour of the Chinese tour, the delegation of the PRC Defense Ministry headed by General Xiaotian is paying an official visit as of 16 June.
