Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan signed with Republic of Slovenia

Head of the International Military Cooperation Department Col. Nebojša Svjetlica met today with the defence attaché of the Republic of Slovenia, Colonel Valter Vrečar, with whom he discussed the level of cooperation achieved in the field of defence.
Colonel Svjetlica said he was pleased with the level of cooperation achieved, emphasizing the importance of the visit from the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, to the Republic of Slovenia, as well as the participation of members of the Slovenian Armed Forces in the multinational exercise Platinum Wolf 2023 and the courses held in the CBRN Centre in Kruševac.

Colonel Vrečar expressed his expectation that a meeting between the two countries’ ministers of defence would be held this year as well and that assistant ministers for defence policy would continue talks on defence policy.
At the end of the meeting, the two men signed the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan 2024, which reaffirms the two defence systems’ commitment to further strengthening cooperation in the interest of both parties.
