Minister Vučević visits Technical Overhaul Institute “Čačak”



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević visited the Technical Overhaul Institute “Čačak” today.
During the visit, Minister Vučević met with the management of TOI “Čačak”. The Institute director, Colonel Vojkan Radonjić, presented the facilities for the overhaul and maintenance of weapons and military equipment to the minister of defence, and informed him about the organization of work in this military establishment that is part of the Army.  

After the meeting, Minister Vučević took a tour of the tracked vehicle overhaul facility and the Sector for Overhaul of Electronic and Electromechanical Equipment.
After the tour, he thanked the employees for their efforts and emphasized the role TOI "Čačak" plays in the maintenance and general overhaul of materiel. The Republic of Serbia will continue to invest in projects aiming to enhance the capabilities of our armed forces so as to make sure that the equipment is always in excellent working order, he said.
  Minister Vučević was accompanied on his tour of TOI “Čačak” by Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, PhD, Army Commander Lt. Gen. Milosav Simović, Head of Office of the Minister of Defence Brig. Gen. Goran Momčilović, Head of the Department for Defence Technologies, Material Resources Sector, Brig. Gen. Slavko Rakić, Head of the Moravica Administrative District Marko Parezanović and the Mayor of Čačak, Milun Todorović.
