Spasojevic received the Norwegian delegation



State Secretary of Defense Dusan Spasojevic received the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Norway headed by the Defense Policy Secretary Eric Lund Isaksen.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the achieved level of cooperation, while also defining other fields for improvement and concrete steps of cooperation especially in military medicine, military education and support projects to defense system reform. The upcoming period will see a number of visits, as was agreed.

Secretary General for Defense Policy Isaksen expressed his satisfaction with high level of professionalism and the quality of our military medial team during their deployment in Chad.

Spasojevic took this opportunity to stress Serbia’s commitment to intensifying its deployment in UN missions.

As he talked about the security situation in the region, Spasojevic reiterated the main positions of our policy, especially as regards the situation in Kosovo, where security initiatives would be crucial.
The join stance of both sides was to enable the regional countries to form a clear and unified European prospect, as EU integration of the western Balkans is a long-term guarantee of security and safety in Europe.
