MMA and the Athletics Association sign a cooperation protocol
At the Military Medical Academy a protocol on cooperation of the Academy with the Athletics Association of Serbia was signed yesterday. The protocol was signed by State Secretary Zoran Jeftic,PhD, and Major General Miodrag Jevtic, MD, the Head of MMA on behalf of MMA while the President of the Association Veselin Jevrosimovic and the Secretary General of the Association Slobodan Brankovic signed the protocol on behalf of the association.
State Secretary Zoran Jeftic expressed his pleasure at reestablishing this cooperation which both sides have expressed interest in, stressing that SAF, besides other sports, is placing special accent on athletics as well. He reminded the excellent job MMA had done last year while providing all necessary care to all Universiade participants, as one of the best medical care to have ever been provided at such a large and important sports event.
MMA will soon launch another service, the physiology of strain, which is SAF’s internal need, and which will certainly be of use to top athletes in Serbia, too.Another thing that is the landmark of MMA is prevention, as General Jevtic, Head of MMA, stressed, adding that top experts’ experiences in different fields of medicine can only help top athletes to prevent any injuries or diseases.
The reps of the Athletics Association of Serbia visited the ER and the Vascular Clinic within MMA.
