SAF provide relief to Trgoviste population
Yesterday Trgoviste municipality received a help in 2000 blankets which MoD and SAF intended for the population in this flood-ridden municipality after the swelling and overflowing of the Pcinja River.The help was presented to the Crisis HQ member Ljubisa Stefanovic.
Trgoviste was struck by massive floods unprecedented in the last eighty years. The raging river destroyed the concrete levy, and collapsing several bridges and flooding 100 houses.
More than 300 inhabitants were evacuated.
The members of the Fourth Army Brigade were on the spot from the start and deploying machines and water tanks provided all necessary help and relief to local population.
