Soldiers undergo field training
Stationary camp is underway at the“Pasuljanske Livade” training ground for soldiers who have been training for infantry and artillery MOS at the Army Training Centre since June 2023.
This segment of individual specialized training is being carried out in keeping with the training program for soldiers who are performing their military service, with the aim of teaching them to carry out combat tasks in defence and offence and adjust to living and working in the field.The activities in the field that last for several days include tactical and firearms training as well as scheduled firing practices using branch weapons. The infantry soldiers have fired using 82 and 120 mm mortars, and the artillerymen have conducted firing practices and test fire using Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers.
They have achieved very good and excellent scores, which is proof that the training has been conducted successfully and that the soldiers have approached the task with great discipline, sense of responsibility and motivation. Upon their return from the field, the soldiers will face the final part of individual specialized training and assessment of their competence to carry out tactical tasks and use branch weapons in battle. Following this, they will be transferred to SAF units to undergo collective task training.
