Success of our MoD and SAF members
The first Via Militaris Cism- Mountain Running challenge cup), was held in Dimitrovgrad from 6 to 10 May in the organization of MoD, the Athletic Association of Serbia and the local self-government of the town of Dimitrovgrad. This manifestation also included the first Serbian championship in mountain running.The participants came from the armed forces of Albania, Croatia, BIH, Montenegro and Serbia.
Our representatives made excellent accomplishments in both individual and team disciplines.
Senior Sergeant Goran Cegar is the winner in male competition and is also the champion of Serbia, while female cadet Nevena Jovanovic came in first among women, while captain Aleksandar Nesevski came in second among army men, while came in third in Serbian championship.
Male SAF and MoD team, came in first in team competition, while female team came in second.The team was made up of: Colonel Zoran Scekic, head of delegation, Stevan Grujic, team trainer, LTCOL Dragan Todorov, Captain Nesevski, Captain Milovan Milic, Senior Sergeant Igor Vukovic, Senior Sergeant Goran Cegar, cadets Nevena Jovanovic, Sladjana Djordjevic and Marija Mirkovic.
