Laying of wreaths on occasion of Victory Day



Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac as an emissary of the President of the Republic laid a commemorative wreath on the Tomb to an Unknown Soldier yesterday on occasion of 9 May-Victory Day.

In a delegation which laid the wreath with the intoning of the anthem “Boze pravde”, also included SAF CHOD LTG Miloje Miletic and the Commander of the Guard Brig.Gen. Goran Radovanovic.

In the memory book, Minister wrote the following: Dedicated to the heroes of antifascist fight, with sincere gratitude and admiration to this heroic victim and deed. May they live in eternal glory to all known and unknown heroes.

Another wreath was laid by a SAF delegation made up of Deputy CHOD LTG Mladen Cirkovic, Major General Petar Cornakov and Brig. Gen. Dobrivoje Veljkovic.

SAF delegations also laid wreaths to the Tomb to a Soviet Soldier in the Liberators Cemetery and to the tomb of the Soviet veterans on Avala.
