Soldiers undergo specialized training as part of military service
Soldiers, whose military service started in June 2023, are undergoing specialized training for Army and Air Force and Air Defence specialties at the Serbian Armed Forces training centres.
This segment of individual training is being conducted in classrooms, at training grounds and in the field. Soldiers are being trained to man various types of collective weapons and acquiring the knowledge and skills needed for logistics, telecommunications and CBRN duties.The training objective is to provide soldiers with the skills needed to carry out tactical combat action on the battlefield, handle weapons and military equipment and perform assignments in accordance with their military occupational specialties.
Specialized training of this class of soldiers ends in late August, when their ability to perform individual tasks will be evaluated. Following this, they will move on to collective training and be actively involved in the life and work of SAF units until the end of their military service.
