Live fire drills with newly introduced, modernized artillery systems conducted

Members of the Army artillery battalions have conducted live-fire drills with the new and modernized artillery systems that have recently been introduced into the armament of the Serbian Armed Forces at the "Pasuljanske livade" range.
It is the final segment of months-long training of the professional members of artillery divisions in providing fire support to evolution units in offensive and defensive operations carried out by the Army.

The combat crews of  155 mm B-52 M-15 Nora self-propelled howitzers, 128 mm M-77 Oganj self-propelled multiple rocket launchers and 122 mm 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers carried out intensive activities at the range, practicing combat actions and procedures. The training was followed by live fire, testing their ability to perform specific tasks in the field.

Excellent live fire results speak best of the quality of training, but also of the reliability of these modernized artillery systems, which now have greater firepower, speed and accuracy of fire and produce a greater fire effect launching simultaneous strikes with multiple missiles.
The provision of modern artillery systems for the Serbian Armed Forces and modernization of the existing ones has significantly improved the ability of this branch of the Serbian Armed Forces to deliver sudden, fast and precise artillery fire against targets of tactical, operational and strategic importance at long distances.
