Minister Vučević Meets Management of “YUMCO” Company
Today, in Vranje, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević met Director-General of “YUMCO” Company Branislav Trajković.
At the meeting, the analysed the progress made in the introduction of new technologies to the production process of the company, as well as the level of development of new products for the requirements of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces.
Minister Vučević noted that he was satisfied with what he had heard during the meeting with the company management - regarding the business activities and plans for the future cooperation with the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces.
Deeming “YUMCO” to be one of the most significant economic actors of Serbia, Minister Vučević stressed that the interest of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces was to buy the equipment and products of that company, stating that they would remain a good buyer in the period to come.
Analysing the previous year, Director Trajković stressed that the participation of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, and the Ministry of the Interior in business activities of the company amounts to 80 per cent, which is a proof of an excellent cooperation.
Today’s meeting was attended by State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Nemanja Starović, Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović PhD, and Head of Private Office of the Minister of Defence Brigadier General Goran Momčilović.
