State Secretary Starović meets with Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran
State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Nemanja Starović met today with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Serbia, H.E. Rashid Hassan Pour Baei.
State Secretary Starović expressed his expectation that the proposals for the establishment and enhancement of cooperation in the spheres of military education and medicine would become more concrete in the period to come, as well as overall defence cooperation between the two countries.According to him, the Republic of Serbia advocates consistent adherence to international law, the preservation of territorial integrity and sovereignty of all countries, the preservation of peace and stability and the establishment of closer relations with other countries based on equality and mutual respect.
States Secratary Starović expressed his belief that the historical and friendly relations would continue to develop in the future to the benefit of both nations and countries.
Ambassador Baei also sees the potential for establishing cooperation in areas of mutual interest and says that the first step towards achieving that is establishing cooperation in the domains of military education and medicine.
