President of India lays wreath at Monument to Unknown Hero on Mt. Avala



The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, laid a wreath today at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Mt. Avala as part of her official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
Following the wreath-laying ceremony, the President of India signed the monument’s guest book inscribing the following message:

“I join the people of Serbia to salute those unknown and unsung heroes, who sacrificed their lives to defend their motherland and establish peace. They will always be remembered”.
Earlier today, the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić hosted the President of India Droupadi Murmu, who is paying an official visit to Serbia.
