Meeting between Minister Vučević and Ambassador of Libya



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Milоš Vučević met today with the Ambassador of Libya to Serbia, H.E. Mohamed O. A. Ghalboun.
Minister Vučević said that there was potential for improvement in overall relations between Serbia and Libya, including the talks on the establishment of defence cooperation.
During the meeting, the Minister of Defence said that Serbia advocated a consistent adherence to international law, the preservation of territorial integrity and sovereignty of all countries, the preservation of peace and stability and the development of relations with other countries based on equality and mutual respect.
Libyan ambassador agreed that there was room for the establishment of cooperation in areas of mutual interest and that initiating the talks on the signing of a defence cooperation agreement was the first step towards that goal.
