Soldiers performing military service undergo skills assessment

An assessment of individual specialized skills of soldiers, whose military service started in March this year, finished at the SAF Training Centres today.
The assessment of soldiers serving in the infantry, artillery and engineer branches, air defence artillery missile units and CBRN, Logistics, Telecommunications and ASEWG Services has been carried out following the completion of the second training phase.

Over the past month and a half, the soldiers have undergone training at the Training Command Centres, learning to perform tactical combat actions on the battlefield and handle different weapons, means and military equipment in line with their respective specialties. Finally, during the two-day assessment, they performed a series of tasks applying the knowledge and skills they had acquired.
As evidenced by the results, the March 2023 class have mastered the entire training content at this training phase and are ready for a more complex – collective training that they will undergo at the SAF units during the final three months of their military service.

Once they successfully complete their military service, soldiers become eligible for admission to professional military service in the Serbian Armed Forces, in which most of them have already expressed their interest.
