Artistic Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence opens the Bojcin Cultural Summer Festival
Artistic Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence of Serbia “Stanislav Bini?ki” have opened tonight the Bojcin Cultural Summer Festival with a festive concert in Progar, more precisely the Bojcin forest near Belgrade. This year's event, which starts on 1st May to last until early September, is organized by the municipality of Surcin.
The concert which lasted a little longer than an hour, attended by the well-known names of the cultural and public life in Belgrade and Serbia, prima donna Jadranka Jovanovic and maestro Vojkan Borisavljevic performed together with “Binicki” Ensemble. The Ensemble, among other things, performed compositions "Devojko mala” (Little Girl) "April u Beogradu” (April in Belgrade), “Moji su drugovi” (My friends), while prima donna sang the arias “Kabanera” and “Gypsies fly in the sky”.
The following Saturdays, Biljana Krsti?, Merima Njegomir, Aleksandra Kovac, ensemble "Renaissance" and a quartet "Miša Blam" and the Cultural Artistic Troop “Španac” from Belgrade will perform in the festival in Bojcin forest.
