State Secretary Dusan Spasojevic receives peacekeepers
State Secretary Dusan Spasojevic have received today the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces who are to go to the UN peacekeeping missions.
Four representatives of MoD and SAF are going as observers in the UN peacekeeping mission (UNCOI) in Côte d'Ivoire, and three in the UNMIL mission in Liberia. Spasojevi? informed the members of this rotation about the plans of the Ministry of Defence regarding the future activities of engagement in peacekeeping missions and stressed that the main intention is to intensify our contribution to building global peace and stability being a responsible member of the international community, both with additional engagement in the present, and participation in the new missions.
