High school students from Aranđelovac visit Military Academy
Today, the students of three high schools in Aranđelovac visited the Military Academy where they had an opportunity to learn about the educational process of future Serbian Armed Forces officers and to visit the Academy’s classrooms, dormitories and sports facilities.
The students and their teachers were welcomed by cadets, their commanding officers and professors, ready to answer all their questions and present to them the life and work at the Military Academy. The girls and boys were first informed about the ongoing competition for enrolment in military schools, the criteria and the selection process that the candidates have to go through to become cadets.
Next, they visited the Military Academy’s memorial room, aviation and motor vehicle labs, virtual shooting range and the sports centre where they crossed swords with cadets playing futsal, volleyball and 3x3 basketball.
The visit to the Military Academy was organized in collaboration with representatives of the Aranđelovac municipality and the city’s Sports Federation, which organizes the annual “1300 Corporals Race” in which cadets and members of the Military Academy participate every year.
