Record number of candidates for enrolment in military schools
Number of candidates in this year's competitions for enrolment in the Military Academy and the Military High School has been a record one in the last few years, which shows the upward trend of interest for enrolment in military schools recorded this year again.
To the competition for enrolment in the Military Academy, which is to admit 240 male and female cadets this school year, 1259 candidates (936 boys and 323 girls) have applied.
To the competition for enrolment in the Military High School, which is to admit 120 boys this year, 1027 pupils of final year of elementary schools have applied.
These results, among the other things, show that the reform of military education is going to the right direction and that the public reputation of the Serbian Armed Forces is increasing.
Competitions for admission to the Military Academy and Military High School were open during the period from 15 February to 01 April 2010.
