Intensive training in 250th AD Missile Brigade

The 250th AD Missile Brigade’s combat teams are undergoing intensive training in putting up an effective, complex and reliable defence of the country against reconnaissance and aerial attacks.
The training is being conducted in all the Brigade's units, so as to achieve full integration of all combat assets into a unified system and upgrade the personnel’s skills in preparing for and launching defensive counter-air operations.
The armament of this unit, which is the cornerstone of AD firepower, includes a wide variety of AD systems, from modern “FK-3” and “Pantsir” missile systems, to “Nevas” and “Kubs” which have been modernized to some extent, so now their integration and coordinated action plays a critical part in successfully defending important economic and industrial facilities and regions, administrative and political centres and SAF troops from aerial attacks.

AD artillery-missile soldiers, who are doing their military service in this unit, where they have been assigned after successfully completing individual soldier training at the Training Command Centres, are also actively involved in the training process.
This training, coupled with continuous professional development in the 250th AD Missile Brigade, ensures a high degree of proficiency in protecting the airspace, whereas excellent results achieved on exercises and firing practices best show the competence of the Brigade's professional staff as well as the unit’s high level of combat readiness.
