Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces in Italy
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Miloje Mileti?, with the delegation, is in an official visit to Italy. Upon landing at the military airport Campina, General Mileti? was received with military honours by the Italian Chief of Defence General Vincenzo Kamporini. During the official talks the two Chiefs of Defence exchanged views on the current security situation in the region and on bilateral relations between the two armies, emphasizing that the military-military relations are very good, but that there is room for further improvement of cooperation, primarily in the areas of training and education.
General Mileti? visited also the Joint Operations Command of the Italian General Staff of and was briefed about the current engagement of the members of the Italian Armed Forces in international missions. General Mileti? will visit today the Army NCO School, Army Aviation Command and the Centre for Simulation and certification of units of the Italian Armed Forces. Visiting these units and institutions demonstrates a commitment to cooperation between the two Armed Forces, especially in training.
